Getting your transfer design perfectly sized for printing can be a challenge, but fear not; we're here to support you every step of the way!

We've got some winning strategies to assist you in sizing like a pro. It's all about understanding your file and garment and then selecting a sheet size that fits.

1. Prior to sizing

You need to know the size of your file and how to adjust it; remember that we're dealing with various formats here. In the design ring, there are two types of file images: vector and raster.

Vectors stand tall with their infinite scalability and unwavering quality. You can resize them worry-free, maintaining crispness no matter what. On the flip side, raster images are constrained by their pixel count. Resizing them compromises their quality. To ensure your designs pack a punch, opt for 300 DPI (Dots Per Inch) files.

Remember, online images typically roll at 72 DPI, which isn't optimal for scaling or printing. Our team can assist you (for an additional small fee) to ensure smooth printing every time!

2 Garment sizing

Accurately measuring your garment is vital. It's the crucial step to guaranteeing your design fits as expected!

Make sure your artwork file size matches the space you want it to fill on your garment. To verify the file size, use graphic design software such as Illustrator, Canva, or Photoshop.

Knockout tip: taking the industry's standardized measures as your guide is always a winning idea!

3 Sheet size won't magically adjust your design. It's all about that starting file size!

Here's the deal: first, pick your formula. Then, it's all about selecting the sheet that fits your design. Just remember, the sheet can be bigger (we'll trim it) but never smaller than the design.

Just a heads up: pricing is determined by the sheet size, not the design's dimensions.

This 9” x 12.75” sheet is a real deal at just 15 cents! Doesn't matter if it's bigger than the design; the print size remains loyal to the file at 4" x 1.7”.

These priceless tips will help you dodge errors in your transfer orders and print your way to victory!
